A Messiah Festival event, the Heritage Edition of The Saint John’s Bible will be presented at the Birger Sandzén Memorial Gallery.
The Saint John’s Bible is the first hand-written, hand-illuminated Bible commissioned in more than 500 years. Created using medieval techniques and calf-skin vellum, this 14-year project was completed by a team of calligraphers, artists, iconographers, theologians, and scholars. Learn more about the process used to create The Saint John’s Bible, and see and feel for yourself the wonder of this creative masterpiece.
Bethany College is grateful for the partnership of the Kansas State University Hale Library and the Birger Sandzén Memorial Gallery, who make this event possible!
