Saturday, April 12, a section of the Vålkommen Trail will be marked off for artists of all ages to “throw down” their imagination in chalk in this all-day event. Cash prizes, scholarship opportunities, interactions with internationally noted artist David Zinn and professional artists promises a day full of smiles and engaging imaginations.

Find a schedule for the day here. Artists will begin creating as early as 7:30am! Official start time is 9:00am with drawing time ending at 1:00pm. The chalk drawings will remain on the trail as long as Mother Nature determines.

The event is a part of the month-long Messiah Festival of the Arts celebration, and is sponsored by Bethany College, Lindsborg Parks and Recreation Departments, Lindsborg Arts Council, Arts on the Prarie, and Visit Lindsborg.
