Denver-based Genevieve Waller is the Red Barn Studio Museum artist-in-residence June 13-26.

Waller brings a unique perspective to her work, blending history, LGBTQ+ narratives, and unconventional materials to create thought-provoking sculptures, installations, and cameraless photography.

Originally from Wichita, Waller’s art is connected to Kansas, and while in residency, she will continue her research on LGBTQ+ figures from her home state. Wendell Sayers, an African American attorney from Nicodemus will be her focus.
