The McPherson Arts Alliance Artists, formerly known as the VAAM Gallery Artists, are set to return for their 21st annual residency at the Red Barn Studio Museum, July 19-25.
Throughout the week-long residency, participating artists will be working simultaneously in a variety of mediums. Each artist brings their own individual style, technique, and artistic vision, contributing to a diverse and dynamic atmosphere.
Featured artists include Meridith Radkie-Gannon, Elizabeth Liljegren, Betty Jo Houchen, Louise Hutchinson, and other McPherson Arts Alliance artists. With mediums ranging from painting and clay to mixed media, visitors will have the rare experience of seeing multiple styles and mediums in one spot.
Stop in during the residency to observe the artists at work, ask questions, and gain insight into the artistic process.
The Red Barn Studio Museum is located at 212 S. Main Street. The museum is open Tuesday-Friday, 10:00am-5:00pm and Saturday-Sunday, 1:00-5:00pm.
