On the first Saturday in August, the Smoky Valley Classic Car show’s distinction derives from the shade-filled location and small town friendliness. Popular awards and highlights are the Police Chief’s Choice and Sheriff’s Choice for the cars most likely to be stopped by those agencies, and the Kansas Highway Patrol award for the car most likely to be stopped for no reason at all!
Registration begins at 8:00am, judging begins at 10:00am, and awards will be given out at 3:00pm. Dash plaques will be given to the first 125 entries.
Enjoy a picnic in the park, choosing from a variety of food vendors, or visit quaint and historic downtown Lindsborg just two blocks away. Experience the small town charm of Little Sweden, USA. Amenities include contemporary shopping, unique art galleries, running and bike trails and fun dining. There is something for everyone. Lodging options include a Scandinavian inn, cozy B&B, upscale vacation rentals and hotels.
