Our Plaza area, which we use for most of our events, needs shade. We would use the grant money to buy wind-resistant, heavy-duty umbrellas for the tables that are already on the Plaza. By providing a comfortable community gathering space, we can help improve the quality of life for residents, foster a sense of belonging, and encourage loyalty to our community. Also, by providing low-cost, comfortable events to low-income families, McPherson Main Street will provide community support, stability, and resources for families to grow.
